The Period Positive Workplace coalition (“PPW,” “we” or “us”) values the privacy of your personal information and is committed to protecting it.  This Privacy Policy explains how PPW collects, uses and discloses information about you. This Privacy Policy applies when you access and use the websites and any online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, our “Services”), contact us for support, engage with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us. 

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website or sending you a notification). Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, you share information directly with us when you request certification, provide information for use in project update publications with your permission, fill out a form, submit or post content through our Services, participate in a survey or promotion, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. We also may request information as necessary to provide you with organizational or programming updates, information about opportunities, and other information or correspondence relevant to our Services.

This personal information may include contact information, such as your name, mailing address and email address, photo, social media handle, information related to why you are interested in PPW and any other information which you choose to provide us.

PPW will use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to an inquiry: If you contact PPW with a question or inquiry, we will use information we have collected to respond.

  • General communications: PPW sends updates on our work and projects, newsletters, fundraising appeals and upcoming events.

  • Volunteer engagement: If you apply to volunteer, we may use your contact information, such as email address, mailing address and phone number, to communicate with you about current project planning or future opportunities.

  • Surveys: Occasionally, we request website visitors’ participation in surveys to improve our organization and our web presence. These surveys are entirely voluntary, and each individual can choose whether or not to disclose information through them.

HOW LONG WE WILL KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

PPW will hold your personal information for as long as it is necessary to carry out the purposes for which we have originally collected it and for other legitimate business purposes, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations

ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING

We allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the web. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, and conversion information. PPW is headquartered in the United States, and we have operations and service providers in the United States and other countries. We will take steps to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.

Account Information:

If you wish to request that we delete information we hold about you, please email us at info@periodpositiveworkplace.org, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for our legitimate business purposes.
